GET READING!

Get Reading! is Australia's largest annual celebration of books and reading. Previously called Books Alive, Get Reading! is a nationwide Australian Government initiative developed through the Australia Council for the Arts.
In 2010 Get Reading! runs from 25 August to 30 September, and encourages all Australians to GET LOST, GET FRESH, GET HOOKED, GET REAL and GET COMFY with a book.

Central to the campaign is a fantastic offer: pick up your copy of the FREE 50 Books You Can't Put Down guide, buy one of the 50 books and receive your FREE book, and GET READING!

The Yarra Plenty Regional Library will be hosting an event at the Eltham Library, in partnership with Elthambookshop for Get Reading! Join in for a night of murder and mayhem with award winning crime writers Michael Robotham and Malla Nunn in conversation with Jarad Henry Dress to kill!
